Amazon has just launched buttons for instant product ordering. These buttons can be placed around a person's home and pressed to instantly order a product when you need more of it. For example, a consumer could put a Tide button on their washing machine and press it when they run out of detergent. An order will be placed for a pre-determined amount and arrive a couple of days later.
One major downside to this is that the consumer cannot see the price when ordering, but maybe that is part of Amazon's business plan. For more information, check out this article in Reuters and this article in The Verge.
