Data Science Jobs: Trendy and In-Demand Today, Gone Tomorrow?

If you've been reading this blog, you've heard of data science before. Today, I read an article in VentureBeat that discussed how data scientists and marketing technologists are in demand this year. 140,000-190,000 openings in this field are expected to go unfilled by 2018, but that trend is not expected to last. The author of the article is suggesting that aspiring data scientists to get into a job and establish themselves as soon as possible before data scientists are no longer in high demand.

R, R, as fast as you can so can become a data science person! Remember, though, take all statistics and trends with a grain of salt and always try to analyze a little deeper. It is easy for someone to spin statistics to make a field look worse or better than it is (intentionally or unintentionally).
